Name and History

Barucboc National High School (formerly Quezon High School – Barucboc Extension) lies in the heart of Barangay Barucboc, Quezon, Isabela.

Its initial opening for the school year 2002-2003 was through Barangay Resolution No. 02-15 which was passed and adopted by the Barangay Council approving the donation of one (1) hectare portion of the Barangay Plaza to the Department of Education that initially caters 94 freshmen students accommodated in a 2-classroom building provided by the Provincial Government through the Provincial Governor Faustino S. Dy, Jr.

The year 2009 marks a remarkable year for the whole school-community because its very dream for independence from the mother school, Quezon High School has been granted by the Department of Education through the Regional Director last July 23, 2009 and was renamed as BARUCBOC NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL.
